Alec Soth's new show Songbook is opening at Fraenkel Gallery tonight and runs through April 4, 2015. Through the events surrounding this show, I have been exposed to the new trend on Instagram where an artist or individual "takes over" someone else's account.

Seen here with Alec Soth taking over Franekel Gallery & Sean Kelly Gallery's feeds for 1 week. I like it.

Danny Lyon, one of my favorite photographers and a brilliant photojournalist was the keynote speaker at the National Geographic Photography Seminar this year. He speaks about the media and his career. A worthwhile watch.

An exhibition of his work is up until February at the Edwynn Houk Gallery in New York.

Adam Bartos: Darkroom

New work from Adam Bartos documents the extinction of darkrooms as we know it. Looking at this work is sad because we all know darkrooms will not be around much longer, but important that a good artist chose to make fine art photographs representing.
